The Untouchable Mountain

The summit of the notoriously shy Mt. Fuji in Japan peaks out from behind the clouds, almost 4km up. In the lower right you can just see the abandoned weather station, and the highest point in the entire country.
The station served as part of a worldwide network of weather informants, yet was abandoned at the turn of the millennium with the advent of weather satellites.
It now stands as one of the hardest-to-reach sights in Japanese tourism during the temperate summer, yet during the cold winter months it endures temperatures of -40 degrees Celsius and winds that have been known to literally blow brave climbers off the mountain.
I've been up there three times, and its still my favorite place to go.

センスとちゃんとしたカメラがあると被写体から離れててもこんなにかっこいい写真が取れるんだなと実感。
